As part of an educational campaign, UC Čistoća Ltd Rijeka has developed a specialized wooden didactic toy in cooperation with the Linit Design Ltd company. The toy is intended for preschool-age children for the purpose of learning about separate waste collection. Educational activities are conducted by the employees of UC Čistoća Ltd Rijeka in the local centres of the City of Rijeka Kindergarten.

The purpose of the educational campaign is for the children to develop environmental awareness from the earliest age, adopt healthy habits of proper waste disposal, and further develop their motor skills. The didactic toy is made from a natural material – wood, and is painted with eco-friendly paints.

The implementation of educational activities started at the end of 2019. They take place in the Kindergarten More, Kindergarten Sušak and other pre-school institutions in the area of operation of UC Čistoća.
