Mobile recycling yards are mobile units for separate collection and storage of small quantities of reusable and difficult types of household waste.

Same as the stationary recycling yards and separate waste collection bins, mobile recycling yards play a significant part in the overall sustainable waste management system.

In the area of the city of Rijeka, a total of 24 locations have been designated where mobile recycling yards will be located during the year. According to the schedule, the yard will be located at each site for 14 days, after which it will be moved to the subsequent location.

In addition to two mobile recycling yards in Rijeka, UC Čistoća also operates one mobile recycling yard in the area of the town of Bakar.
